Christophe Garnier
Annual DCMM Maintenance Work Group Chair
The Green Grid

Christophe Garnier is an active participant in The Green Grid’s Global Technical Committee and EMEA Technical Work Group. He currently chairs the Annual DCMM Maintenance Work Group, which is responsible for driving the ongoing development of the Data Center Maturity Model.

Christophe has more than 10 years of experience in Schneider Electric’s Environmental Department and is an expert in the environmental lifecycle and ecodesign of products. He has implemented the ecodesign process for a complete range of products, and his responsibility has grown from ensuring compliance with international regulations to implementation in research and development teams.

Christophe is now dedicated to representing Schneider Electric interests in international environmental standardization bodies and professional consortia. Christophe represents Schneider Electric and the French National Committee in IEC TC111 and JTC1 SC39 and is leading a working group for developing Environmental Standard for the UPS industry in IEC. Christophe is also an expert in European CENELEC groups. Christophe is leading the consortium of UPS manufacturers and organizations that was selected in 2013 by the European Commission to participate in the Product Environmental Footprint pilot program that will prepare the EU policy on product footprint.

Christophe holds a master of computer sciences degree.
