This report summarizes the key points made by White Paper 84 and proposes regulatory language to be used in the recast of Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/424 of 15 March 2019 laying down ecodesign requirements for servers and data storage products. The document presents requirements for enabling a power management profile on servers shipped into and put into service in the EU, a definition of ‘power management profile’, and an information reporting requirement to detail the power management profile enabled on the server.
