July 19th, 2012 Green Grid Forum: Panel Discussion Data Center 2020 ~The world of PUE 1.0 (Japanese)

Toward the goal of achieving the ultimate efficiency PUE=1.0 for data center facilities, we will have discussions while incorporating information such as trends in new technology from various fields. As of 2012, the highest efficiency level is a data center with a PUE of less than 1.1, but as we explore the possibility of further efficiency improvements, we look forward to what a world with PUE of 1.0 will be like. We also discussed the possibility of creating a net-zero energy data center by reusing data center waste heat (waste energy), utilizing renewable energy, and collaborating with energy providers.
